The bulk of the humor comes from Yumeko's insane ego and vanity, but not because people think she doesn't deserve it. When she describes herself as a divine goddess and the sunshine in everyone's lives, it's not a joke to her, because the way her positive outlook improves the lives of her coworkers is very much in line with how she now sees herself, and how her coworkers come to see her.
The comic doesn't shy away from stereotypes. Yumeko works at a snack company, and enjoys eating plentiful food. But she also dresses in a way that's trendy, and the characters who fall for her do so because of her personality -- her weight isn't even a factor for or against her.
In addition to the comedy, there's a central mystery at the heart of everything, in just how Yumeko ended up with amnesia. As well as plenty of drama related to overworking, mental illness, stress, etc. And even some tropes I dislike, such as miscommunication, though they are present here, they're handled in a realistic way and aren't dragged out unnecessarily for drama.
As of this review, an anime adaptation has been announced, and there's already a live-action drama. Definitely give this one a read!
